Hi Gary, thanks for the comment (and your patience with our reply).
Because the SNS is a state healthcare system, not insurance, all types of conditions should be covered.
Note: you will need private insurance to cover the period from arriving in Portugal to getting your residency card. After that, you can apply for a health number and join the public healthcare system.]]></description>

I hear a treatable for of cancer, which means I have to have ongoing treatments.  I have insurance that will cover my treatments that I can bring , but it’s expensive.
